Today many people celebrate this ancient hindu festival which marks the time in the year when the sun returns to the northern hemisphere. It is traditionally a harvest festival when the sun is worshipped. Despite the thick clouds and rain over London, my day started with the desire to paint a heart a day for the next month to share my love with the world. I wish warmth and light in everyones heart. May we all support each other during these dark days of the pandemic.
